The Problem

Without markup, AI has to guess

Schema.org markup is optional. A page can ship with none at all, or carry markup that's incomplete or fails to parse. Either way an AI system is left inferring what the page is about from the prose.

For small and medium businesses this is worse. Local businesses, venues, restaurants, and services rely on local search — exactly where rich results matter most. A restaurant with no LocalBusiness schema is invisible to "restaurants near me" in AI answers.
