Most schema is pasted in once and forgotten. Then a price changes, or a shop starts staying open an hour later on Mondays, and the website gives two different answers: one on the page, an older one in the markup. That is what keeping it current fixes.

Rolling Schema refreshes the markup from the connected page, so the structured data says the same thing. "closes": "19:00"
Rolling Metadata corrects the description, if you switch it on. It changes the fact and keeps the rest of your wording. Open Mondays until 19:00.

Which do you need?

I need markup, and I need it now: Use the Schema Generator. Give it your domain and copy the JSON-LD into your pages. No account, no card.
I want it to stay right without thinking about it: Create a free account and connect your site. Rolling Schema keeps five pages current, and your homepage, main service and contact page are a sensible place to start.
I do not know what schema I already have: Run a Schema Audit first. It reads every structured-data format on your site, not just JSON-LD, and grades each page, so new markup does not clash with what a plugin already adds.

Common questions

Yes. The generator needs no account at all. A free account adds Rolling Schema on five pages of one domain, optional metadata fixes and traffic tracking, with no card and no end date. Paid plans exist for more pages and deeper analysis, and you never have to move to one.

Copy it in yourself from the generator, or connect your site with one of our supported integrations, such as the WordPress plugin, and we deliver and verify it for you. The docs list every option.

Only if you ask it to. Rolling Metadata starts switched off. Turned on, it corrects outdated facts in existing descriptions and keeps your wording; generating missing descriptions is a separate switch.

Schema does not guarantee a mention, and Google says AI Overviews need no special markup. What it does is remove ambiguity: instead of an AI system inferring what your page is about, the markup states it. Treat anybody selling it as a citation lever with suspicion.

The markup itself cannot, but wrong markup can. Invented ratings or claims that contradict the visible page can cost you rich results. We write from what is on the page, and you should still review it before it goes live.
